The CyberPatient team would like to share what we have been up to!
September 1, 2022, marked a momentous occasion for three organizations, hundreds of medical students, faculty members, and thousands of future patients. Despite ongoing political and economic challenges, Ghalib University in Herat, Afghanistan’s historic city, officially opened the CyberPatient Center for Medical Education and Research.
Thanks to our research partners Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran, the platform has been noticed by many scholars and important healthcare education pioneers. We hope to see you virtually on September 29th at this year’s IODL Conference!
Huge shoutout to Mohammad Ranjbaran, who completed ALL cases from every system offered in this year’s Summer School. Mohammad received well above the required scores and treated every virtual patient he could. It’s dedicated students like him that will make a difference in healthcare.
Technology advancements are rapidly enhancing healthcare education. These changes open an exciting field of research. Check out this new study focussing on Game-based vs. Case-based education.
