Company Overview
iJapan was established in 2012 as an affiliate of iGroup, which provides academic and educational information services across 13 countries and 26 offices, centered on the Asia-Pacific region. While drawing on iGroup’s extensive network, iJapan pursues its own strategy, selecting academic information and tools from around the world and providing them to universities, research institutions, companies and public libraries, from selection and implementation through to maintenance and sustained use.
Vision
Making the world’s knowledge truly “put to work” on the front lines in Japan.
Excellent academic information and learning solutions do not deliver value simply by being purchased. They become valuable only when they are used every day in research, education and talent development. From among iGroup’s products and services and those of other providers around the world, we think for ourselves and carefully select what suits the Japanese market, provide it to our customers from implementation through to maintenance, and, as a bridge that also carries customers’ voices back to publishers and service providers, create an environment where the world’s knowledge is put to work every day in Japan.
